Our mission is to help build a manufacturing workforce that is competitive with others on a global scale and instrumental in economic development at the local level. ProtoGen Group does this by providing a unique blend of training and development services to employers, training providers and the public workforce system.

But ProtoGen Group is not your typical training operation. We offer a full array of services related to employee training and development, utilizing existing, proven resources to provide many of these services, rather than "reinventing the wheel", recreating what's already in place and working well. We are a connector.

Our training partners include universities, community colleges, career centers, and individuals, who having been active for many years meeting workforce development needs. We keep tabs on the dislocated worker population and industry employment trends through our partners in the public workforce and development system and through local economic development organizations.
Our industry partners include manufacturers of all types, from small operations to multi-national corporations.

Our goal is to become a workforce clearinghouse, providing information, training services and other resources to the regional community. We are a private organization, providing the leadership and management of the best public and private sector resources to meet workforce development needs.
